I could spend hours every day on Pinterest looking for fun things to do. Today that’s exactly what I did.
The kids are out of school so that means I need to keep them busy. What better way to do that than to find some fun craft ideas!? And these craft ideas are all about using things from the dollar sore.
Some of the ideas on this list might be more for me, but I need to have fun too!
Using items from the dollar store is quite brilliant. If you make something super cool you can be extra proud of it knowing that it was inexpensive. If you make something that doesn’t turn out….well, at least you didn’t spend too much money! 🙂
I love these gold frames from the dollar store by Lily Ardor. Picture frames and candle sticks are two things that I can always find at the dollar store. I will definitely be trying this project.
Like a lot of women I am always looking for fun ways to hang my jewerly. I love these mirror jewerly wall hangers by Homey Oh My. The hexagon mirrors are from the dollar store.
I’m digging these distressed picture frames! Picture frames are always at the dollar store. This is something I could get the kids to help me with, even if they don’t want to use the frames.
These alcohol ink glasses are so cool! My kids would love to make these….with supervision of course.
Pretty in pink! This dollar store cupcake stand would be great for a birthday party. Head on over to Lindsay Ann Bakes blog.
Wrapping these vases in yarn totally transformed them! Check out The Homemakers Journey Blog to see how you do it.
I’m not sure if the dollar store has mason jars, but they have candlesticks! Check out Living Well Spending Less to see how you make these mason jar candy pedestals.
I’m pretty sure most families could put this DIY whiteboard to good use! One Little Project walks you through how you can make your own.
I think the Crazy Craft Lady has a great idea to keep makeup organized with this magnetic organizer.
I can always use an extra beach bag in the summer. I love what The Kim Six Fix did with these dollar store placemats.
Hopefully you found something you’d like to try!
